A number of bands have gone by the name of Buck. One of the best known was a pop punk band that was active from 1997-2000. They released an album, Buck, in 1998; an EP, Buck in Black , in 1999; and a number of singles. Another band named Buck (Be Under Century Knife) is an indierock/lo-fi outfit from a small town called Alingsås in Sweden, but are now based in Herrljunga, Sweden. This Buck is heavily influenced by acts such as Archers of Loaf, Built to Spill and so on.
