Danny Rodriguez (aka D-Boy) was a Christian Rap artist who was tragically shot October 6, 1990. His lyrics were extremely refreshing to many Christians and his sound was comparable to any hip-hop artist of the time. He was 22 at the time of his death. Danny was the son of Cookie and Demi who were former addicts and are actively involved in helping teens turn away from gang violence. Genie Rodriquez is Danny's sister who goes by the stage name of M.C. Ge Gee
