Phillip Brandon, a native of Los Angeles, CA, grew up in a very supportive music loving family where he was able to garner many of his influences. Born to a mother who is a singer and a father who is an overall music lover, it seemed destined for Phillip to be on stage. Phillip’s sound, which is a fusion of jazz, funk, and rock, was birthed as a result of him listening to many different artists and genres such as: Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Robeson, Patti Labelle, Ray Charles, Journey, The Whispers, and the list goes on.
