• STP originally formed in April 1983, as Sharon Tate's Phoetus, when Chris [ex Post Mortem] met the other four hanging out in Harvard Square posin', and bummin' change. At the time they were the youngest band in Boston with an average age of 14. The original lineup was: Vocals: Chris Jordan (17) Guitar: Cliff Truesdell (15) Guitar: Jono Kornfeld (12) Bass: Jordan Wood (13)Drums: Alex Hall (15). The band played their first show at the Pilot school May Fair, and their second show at The Rat in June of 1983 [w/ DXA, and Violation].
