There are multiple artists named Wayne Smith. The fIrst (born in Waterhouse, Kingston, Jamaica, on December 5, 1965 - 17 February 2014) was a Jamaican reggae musician. His 1985 recording of "(Under Me) Sleng Teng", is generally regarded as the beginning of ragga style reggae.
